This edition was made possible by an award from The Coutts Contemporary Art Foundation, Zurich. Created by Ed Ruscha in 2001, after a 25-year hiatus from making artist books. Each photograph represents a monochromatic book cover gilded with variant letters S applied, two letters in one case. The methods of applying the letters to the covers appear to be different, e.g. bleaching or painting. This edition was produced in conjunction with Ruscha's exhibition at the James Kelly Gallery in Santa Fe in 2001. Minor wear, light compression at upper area of spine.

Two striking textile sample catalogues containing no less than 107 mounted cotton samples of various shades and patterns from the German textile manufacturer S. F. Both catalogues are dated 14. 8. 31 (August 14, 1931) and consists of over a hundred textile swatches introducing the latest collection of napkins and tablecloths from the S. F. company. The first catalogue (11 1/2 x 7 1/4") dealing with patterns in color contains 61 samples mounted on 22 leaves, all with various floral and geometric embroidery designs. The swatches are mounted one to four per leaf (size varies from 4 3/4 x 2 3/4" to 15 x 6 1/2"). Mounted at rear are five color illustrations (9 x 6 1/4") depicting five models featured in the catalogue. Film stills and production photographs (app. 9 x 7") of the 1933 German-US drama film directed by Arnold Fanck. Filmed on location in Uummannaq, Northwest Greenland, Island and the the Bernina Alps, on the border of Switzerland and Italy, it tells the story of an Arctic expedition in search of a party that went missing in the previous year. The film script was written by Tom Reed based on a story by Arnold Fanck and Friedrich Wolf (Wolf's credits were removed after the takeover by the Nazis due to the fact that he was Jewish and a member of the Communist Party). Starring Gustav Diessl, Leni Riefenstahl, Sepp Rist, Gibson Gowland, Rod la Roque, and Ernst Udet, the film was shot simultaneously in German and English and released in Nazi Germany and the United States. All pages are ruled in gold, red, and blue. All the dividing columns are in either gold decorated red or gold decorated blue. The manuscript covers the second half of the Shahnameh. There are two illuminated headings and 34 miniatures. The miniatures are stunningly bright and exquisite, and most of them cover almost the entire page. SLK is a compact roadster manufactured by Mercedes-Benz in three generations; R170 launched in 1996, the R171 in 2004 and R172 in 2011. As one of the first modern retractable hardtop convertibles, the SLK followed the 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder and preceded other retractable hardtops such as the Peugeot 206cc, Lexus SC, Pontiac G6 and the Chrysler Sebring.
