Getting his start with the Associated Press in 1970 he opened a portrait studio in Ravenna in the same year. In 1973, having met Peter Knapp, the Art Director of Elle magazine in 1971, Roversi visited Paris following Knapp's invitation. Roversi's photographs have been published in numerous publications, including Vogue. He has worked with Polaroids since 1980.
