Very good condition. Price-stamped on front endpaper; otherwise clean. No dust jacket.

Blue cloth covers are faded & gilt is worn on cover & spine. Covers are edge-worn; some text is underlined with notes. Inscribed to previous owner on front endpaper; ex libris sticker on front pastedown. A well-loved copy.

Illustrator N.C. Wyeth was one of America's most well-known illustrators; he was father of Andrew Wyeth. Green cloth boards with shelf wear. Front end paper has been torn out, and front & back paste-downs show tape remains from dustcover. Ex-library, so has 2 library stamps. 14 color illustrations. Text appears to be unmarked, but this copy has been read.

Red covers with paste-on pictorial. Covers have some marks. Stamped & inscribed with bookseller and previous owner's name on front endpaper. Binding exposed on some pages. Back of book includes color illustration of Maud Muller, and poem about her by Whittier, an ad for fruit salt, and 32-page catalogue of books from the publisher.

Undated. Minor shelf wear to brown cloth boards with decorative Art Nouveau design. Pages are heavily age-tanned and have foxing. A prize plate on the front pastedown, dated 1914. Previous owner's name in pencil on front endpaper. Binding is firm. 32 pages of Catalogue of Popular Illustrated Books at back of book.

Volume I: 428; Volume II: 418 pages. Beige cloth covers, slightly soilded. Frontispiece with tissue guard in each volume. Brown topcolor. Bookseller's sticker on decorated end paper. Minor foxing. Volume II frontispiece has bit of glue? on it. Back hinge slightly exposed in each volume around page 403.

No date. Dark green cloth with color pastedown on cover. Gilt lettering on spine. 8 color plates by W.R.S. Stott. Previous owner's stamp on front endpaper, and inscription to previous owner on back of frontispiece. Dust jacket is missing top of spine, and has rips. Front pastedown has shelf wear lower edge. Overall, very nice condition.

Complete Set of 10 volumes Red covers have various shelfwear. Gilded titles on spines have faded. Price marked on one cover; 3 have pencilled in 'Read' on endpaper; presumably by previous owner.Pencil scribble marks in one volume on endpapers. Binding generally quite good.
