No date. In paper covers tied at spine with silk cord, 4to, oblong, unpaginated. Illustrated souvenir book with 24 tipped-in sepia photographs on heavy stock paper, each with printed captions. Some of the pages have water/coffee marks (Image5 shows the worst-damaged page).

Green cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Minor shelfwear, some bumping on lower cover edges. Dust jacket has minor tears; protected in Mylar. Errata slip tipped in. 12 folding maps. occasional tidy ink underlining and marginalia. Previous owner's name inscribed on front endpaper. Rough-cut fore edge. Last page uncut.

This attractive volume was rebound in 1984 in red Morocco leather. This volume includes the original cover and all original pages, including 2 fold-out maps on linen. Original owner's name inscribed (purchased 1877).
