Anecdotes of life on the Australian Broadcasting Commission, of Mo, and of Peter Finch. He spent most of his boyhood in a Catholic seminary school in Scotland. He joined the ABC in Sydney as a writer, and later wrote gags for Jack Davey and Roy Rene (Mo). The poet Kenneth Slessor rounds off the book with a lively panorama of Sydney bohemian life in the 1930s and 40s. .
