Profusely illustrated with black and white photographs and illustrations, including many floor plans. Inscribed by the Author on: “Edwin Malloy/ in celebration of your birthday 5.9.1991, Robert A. M. Stern” Malloy was best known for his role as the broker who, in the late 1970s, helped Pan Am sell its Midtown high-rise to Metropolitan Life for $405 million, a record-setting price at the time. He was also a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. Folio. 166, [2] pp. Bound in full yellow cloth, stamped in terra cotta on cover and spine, blind stamp decoration on rear cover. Text in Spanish. Includes chronology and bibliography. Born Paul Higgins Stevenson in Salt Lake City Utah in 1904, O'Higgins immigrated to Mexico in 1924 where he studied under Diego Rivera for several years. In 1937, he and fellow artists Leopoldo Méndez and Luis Arenal founded the artist's print collective Taller de Gráfica Popular. Very Good, internally clean, rear hinge shaken and worn, bumping to extremities, in Very Good dust jacket with 1" tear to head of spine, wear and chipping to spine and extremities, some fading.

Mexico City: Editorial Offset, 1986. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good +/very good. Folio. 52 pp., followed by 80 illustrations, some full-color, some two-page. Bound in black boards stamped in silver on cover and spine, in illustrated dust jacket. Preface by Luis Cardoza y Aragón, Essays by Raquel Tibol and Gabriel Fernández Ledesma. Ledesma began preparing this work in 1971, but it was not published until 1986- three years after his death. The illustrations depict performers in the three-day festival that precedes Ash Wednesday. Very Good+, 1/2" patch of surface damage to front free endpaper (white mark on dark pink paper), otherwise internally clean and sound, bumping and rubbing to extremities of binding, in Very Good dust jacket, short tears to head and tail of spine, wear to extremities, overall rubbing and dulling.

Bound in stapled, dark pink wrappers with cover illustration in white and title in black. One wood engraving by Fritz Eichenberg on title page, signed by him in pencil, and four relief engravings by José Guadalupe Posada. Printed in an edition of 500 numbered copies signed by Charlot on colophon, this is No. 67. Very Good, internally clean and sound, rubbing and wear to extremities - heaviest at spine, 1/2" tear to head of spine, 1" dark smudge to lower front cover.

Bound in illustrated boards, in matching dust jacket, Full-color and black and white illustrations by Ardizzone throughout. 'First published in 1949'' stated on copyright page, "8/6 net / Ages 5-7" printed on lower corner of front flap of dust jacket, ads for the first three books in the Tim series on the rear flap of dust jacket. This is the first post-war book in the 'Tim' series and the first to be designed in the smaller 4to format. Additionally, at the request of Oxford University Press's US department, Ardizzone changed the character of the ship's cook from a black man to a white man (Alderson p. 72). Color frontispiece and 3 color lithographs by Carles Fontseré. Printed on handmade chiffon d'Auvergne. In the original paper-covered slipcase. Limited edition, this is number 99 of 110. Frontispiece signed by the artist in pencil. Preface in French by Jean Cassou; text in Catalan followed by French translation. Oda a Espanya, one of Maragall's most popular poems, appeared with 'Els adéus' and 'Cant del Retornas' as 'Els tres cants de la guerra' in Visions and Cants (1900). Illustrated by Catalan artist and photographer Carles Fontseré, best known for his Spanish Civil War posters.
