Description:
"Patrick Shaw Stewart: An Edwardian Meteor" by Miles Jebb. Published in hardback by The Dovecote Press in 2010. First Edition. 248pp. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight although the spine is cocked with a resultant marked shelf lean. The boards are clean with no bowing present and the silver lettering on the spine is still strong. The page edge blocks have minimal evidence of handling. Internally the book is very clean and unmarked. It is inscription, annotation and foxing free. The dustjacket is in Very Good Plus condition with colours strong and vibrant. It is now protected by a superior 'Gaylord' removable see-through sleeve. Any questions, please just ask.

Description:
"Pretty Polly - A History of her Career on the Turf" by Joscelyne Lechmere. Published in hardback by John Lane/The Bodley Head in 1907. First Edition. 63pp. The book is in Good condition for its age. The binding is good. The boards are reasonably clean although there is a tiny dink of damage on the front board. The book has no shelf lean. The gilt lettering on the spine has faded but is still readable. Internally there are no annotations or inscriptions. The rough cut edge block has tanned, from age only. The first and last couple of pages have foxing but the remainder of the pages are unmarked. There are a few small speck spots and signs of handling but these are commensurate with age. Scarce.
