About This Item
"Pretty Polly - A History of her Career on the Turf" by Joscelyne Lechmere. Published in hardback by John Lane/The Bodley Head in 1907. First Edition. 63pp. The book is in Good condition for its age. The binding is good. The boards are reasonably clean although there is a tiny dink of damage on the front board. The book has no shelf lean. The gilt lettering on the spine has faded but is still readable. Internally there are no annotations or inscriptions. The rough cut edge block has tanned, from age only. The first and last couple of pages have foxing but the remainder of the pages are unmarked. There are a few small speck spots and signs of handling but these are commensurate with age. Scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. Any questions, please just ask.
