Boldly signed by the author on the title page. This book came from the estate of a book agent in Greenwich / NY City. Would be an excellent addition to any Potter fan's collection.

Technical book (mylar protected) on the care and operations of the Holland Type Submarine Torpedo Book, from the Electric Boat Company. Published in 1916. Number 250 marked "confidential." Intact (detachable) sheet at the back intended for the "borrower" to sign when taking the book. The book is in very good condition with tight binding and no loose pages; minor small folding to some page corners and focal small tearing on corner of one plate; otherwise no other obvious defects. This book was (obviously) not intended for circulation as it describes (with select diagrams) the workings of the earliest U.S. submarine. Scarce.

Prior owner names in pencil on FFEP and inside front board. Otherwise, binding tight without any loose leaves. Map is complete and intact. Relatively scarce in this condition as a first edition.
