Edgewear to extremities particularly to the foot of spine. Internally complete and clean. Endpapers original and unsplit. No inscriptions. One of the scarcest Agatha Christie titles from the 1930s. Wagstaff & Poole p110. A lady is killed in Andover and Hercule Poirot is called in to look for clues. Alphebetically, it is one letter down and twenty five to go!

Thomas Blanshard, 1820. First edition. 284pp. Rare particularly in original pubisher's grey boards. Chipping and splitting along the spine. Boards worn with paper loss especially to front boards bottom right corner. Original spine label present but cracked and chipped with title just legible. Old manuscript inscription dated 1820 to front endpaper. Endpapers original and unsplit. Light watermark to bottom right corner of first three leaves & an even paler mark to half way up on first two leaves. No loose or missing leaves. A very uncommon title.
