About This Item

Heinemann, 1957. First edition, first printing. 8vo. Red boards with black & gilt titles. Pictorial dustwrapper by Broome-Lynne. A near fine copy with clean boards. Internally clean and complete. A hint of spotting to edges & rear endpaper. Old bookseller label to front endpaper. No inscriptions. The very good+ dustwrapper is complete with some mild edgewear, a few short closed tears & a small rub to spine. Very bright pink spine without any of the heavy fading to the pink spine usually associated with this title. Original price of 15snet to front flap. Rare in vivid pink wrapper with spine the same colour as the sofa on the front panel. The fourth novel in the "Dance to the Music of Time" series. We meet Lady Molly who provides the meeting places for the characters to interact.
