Some light bumping to the extremities, and a slight fade along the margins of the boards. Given as a prize at Sevenoaks School in 1950. Laid-in are a programme and tickets for the speech day, the essay that won the prize and, most curiously, a note from the author disparaging the quality of entered essays and, rather grudgingly to my mind, saying that under the circumstances he feels that this is the best prize he can offer!
