Damp stain (doesn't affect contents) to bottom of back cover, which has lightened dark blue cloth very slightly, from spine then approx. halfway across bottom, extending 1 1/2" up from bottom. Gold lettering to spine is very bright. Front hinge has some play but still unbroken, un-cracked, no tearing or separation of paper .
