London: Macmillan. Good with no dust jacket. 1944. First Edition. Hardcover. 41 pp. of advertisements at front, then title page, then two more ads opposite foreword and contents pages. Heavily illustrated, book is indexed instead of paginated, text block is 1 1/2" thick, so many, many pages. One very small gouge to lower/center of spine cloth. Damp stain (doesn't affect contents) to bottom of back cover, which has lightened dark blue cloth very slightly, from spine then approx. halfway across bottom, extending 1 1/2" up from bottom. Gold lettering to spine is very bright. Front hinge has some play but still unbroken, un-cracked, no tearing or separation of paper .
