USA: HarperCollins, 1991 1991 1st printing. DJ is unclipped, book is well-used exlibrary. Well loved classic by wellknown and talented author and illustrator features rollicking verse describing tables of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 1 diners including hyenas, penguins and many more animals coming for dinner, so lots of learning and great pictures!

Tokyo: Froebel-Kan, 1971 Entertaining and collectable Vegetable Puppets Series, a scarce board book depicting photographs of actual vegetable puppets. The publisher was named after a Dr. Froebel, a kindergarten expert. This copy would be considered Very Good, were it not for a failing rear hinge.

Boston: Little, Brown, 1947 Not in perfect condition, particularly the boards, but scarce first printing of the original edition of Thornton Burgess' The Dear Old Briar-Patch. could possibly be a candidate for rebinding or just enjoy this nice size format 8-1/4 by 6-1/2 and Harrison Cady's great illustrations (see scans).

New York: BALLANTINE., 1970 Good plus copy ifirst printing issued March 1st, 1970. Contains articles, photos and screenplay. Corners rubbed, some edgewear, otherwise very good. "surreal, dreamlike and sensual."

London: Oxford University Press, 1975 This is a really beautiful book, despite being an ex library copy, it is sturdy and the pages are not limp. Toronto and New York: Annikins, 1994 Quite a sweet mini book from 1994, in fair condition with several creases but no writing, about a friendship between an ant and a rock. It is just under 3-1/2 square, and perhaps for this reason, it has become very scarce.
