William Morrow, 1986. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Lemieux, Michele. An adaptation of the story of Menotti's now-classic opera with stunning illustrations. NF in a Very Good price-clipped jacket, with a little bend to the top of the front jacket panel and a light crease/fingernail mark.

Jacket has some usual shelf wear and corner bumps but no tears or serious problems. A spectacular "tale of greed and high adventure in two acts." Illustrations are vibrant, impeccable. Very early edition.

Ex-lib, but in great shape-- DJ is crisp and un-priceclipped ($8.95), Ffep has a torn place and another sticker.Weird stain to the FFEP but does not affect readability. Overall, a great copy in this fun, out-of-print classic series about a lovable dog.
