Some minor darkening to leather on spines and around edges, some minor handling marks to boards. Tiny nick to top spine corner on vol.2. Some darkening to endpapers on corners/edges, engraved title darkened around edges. Some tanning to inside pages, with some offsetting to adjacent pages from plates. No guards. Some small minor spots to some plates at edges, else plates overall clean and bright. Else very good copies. viii + 384 & xii + 372pp. Illustrated with 48 B&W engraved plates (including 2 decorative title pages with vignettes.)
