There is no dust jacket. Nonetheless, this is a very good copy of a book that's not easy to find. You'll not be disappointed to have it in your library.

Usual offset toning to the pictorial pastedowns; prior owner name and 1941 Christmas penned to the front pastedown. Jacket a little toned at spine and to sides with several damp/drip outlines to the cover panel. Light surface rubbing to jacket base of spine and shallow chips at spine ends and corner tips. Mild reader evidence to pages but clean and unmarked save for a few small instances of soling to the front and rear endpages. Despite flaws a sound and attractive copy in the original dust jacket. VG/G++ .

Book in near fine condition, no owner’s name. DJ price clipped but text on both flaps matches text for 1st state DJ. DJ moderately toned, spine panel slightly darker, few small chips top edge including tips of spine panel, few short tears to upper edge of front cover panel. Size, shape, label, and color match the Wightman copy held at the Pierpont Morgan Library, which Hare discusses under his entry S61. The Wightman copy and this one offered for sale have a lighter green than the bright green mentioned by Hare. .
