London: Sir Joseph Causton & Sons, Limited, 1916. Paperback. 108p., small softbound in 7x4.5 inch plain printed wraps. Wraps are a little edgeworn with an old ownership name lightly pencilled at upper right; untitled spine panel is toned; textblock is staple-fastened and wraps have pulled away from hinge area exposing the staples (which are in good shape) in front, also in back where there's a gap between text and cover and signs of previous owner's glue-repair. Item remains sound and readable.

Description:
There was, as may be expected, many discussions on the involvement and future of European nations during the early days of World War I. "The Policy of National Instinct" -- A speech delivered by M. Take Jonesco, in the Roumanian Chamber of Deputies during the sitting of the 16th and 17th December, 1915 was one example of such discussions. In this speech, Mr. Jonesco speaks of the changes in government that he believes must inevitably take place as a result of the war.
The speech is contained in a 108 page booklet, in paper covers, that measures approximately 5 by 7 inches. The booklet was printed in London in 1916 by Sir Joseph Causton & Sons Ltd. The pages are very slightly tanned and there is a faint stain on the front cover. The overall condition of the booklet is very good.
The illustrations accompanying this description show the front cover and first page of the speech.
