Dodd, Mead & Company. Good/No Jacket. 1936. First Edition. Cloth. Illustrated with beautiful black and white photographs that are tipped-in. Tan, cloth, hard cover book. A first edition dated 1936 on the title page and 1936 on the copyright page with no other dates, or editions stated. The pasted down label on the front cover has a light tan, cloud-type stain through the main title's letters. Despite this stain the label remains very legible. Pages are tight and clean. The back cover has a thumb size stain at the right edge. The lettering on the spine is legible, but not bold. All corners have some shelf wear. Prior owner's name is written on inside of the front cover. .

Inscribed by Blanding "To Peaches Drum/Aloha to you/Don Blanding/1937 " and inscribed between the signature and date "and Frank S Warren" in Warren's hand. Peaches Drum was the daughter of General Hugh Drum, a Major General with a distinguished WW I and WWII record. Anna Carroll Drum's bookplate is on the front pastedown.
