About This Item
Dodd Mead, 1936. Book. Illus. by Frank S. Warren. Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition.. A very nice copy indeed, darkening to spine. Inscribed by Blanding "To Peaches Drum/Aloha to you/Don Blanding/1937 " and inscribed between the signature and date "and Frank S Warren" in Warren's hand. Peaches Drum was the daughter of General Hugh Drum, a Major General with a distinguished WW I and WWII record. Anna Carroll Drum's bookplate is on the front pastedown. A lovely copy with beautiful tipped in black & white photos by Warren..
