The dust jacket which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) and presents very well. It is clean and bright with a little scuff at the bottom of the front panel. There is a 3 x 1 cm chip on the top of the rear panel that has been secured by tape on the rear. There is a 1.5 cm closed tear at the bottom of the rear panel and 1.8 and 0.5 cm closed tears on the foot of the spine all of which are reinforced by tape to the rear. Some wear to the covers and the titles along the spine are near illegible through wear, one inch split at the bottom of spine has been repaired, small 'The Times book Club' stamp to rear pastedown.
