Decorative yellow cloth. Corners and spine tips lightly rubbed. Property stamp on front end paper, front hinge starting to split at gutters + covers lightly soiled, else unmarked throughout. Edge worn jacket with several small tears / creases looks nice in archival protector. New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Book 1956.

New York: Harcourt,Brace & World, Inc., 1956. This is a very good hardcover copy in the library binding, with light wear and soil. The red cloth covers are printed with the image of the top of the child's head and hat, owl and blocks. Very clean inside, no library markings, but some sort of plate removal from the inside front cover, very neatly done. No dust jacket. One short repaired tear to the lower edge of the last printed page. 10" high X 8" wide. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.. Decorative Cloth. Very Good.
