Very Good. 1960 or later printing when the merger between Harcourt Brace and World Publishing occurred -- but a much earlier printing than the Harcourt Brace Jovanovich 1970s reprint. Cloth covers lightly soiled, else fine in lightly rumpled, price-clipped jacket with small piece of tape on front flap. Ann and Paul Rand's first children's book and a New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Book 1956.
