Dragonholder

Todd is the best one to write about his mom. I've read and own all of the Pern series books written by Anne and Todd. To read of the ideas behind the books and meet some members of the family was super. I feel like I know Anne just a little. I was so depressed when I heard she had recently died. I am waiting with baited breath for the last book she and Todd co-authored. I know from this book and Anne's own words that Todd is the only one to continue the Pern saga, if he chooses.

Book Of Enchantments

I have read other of this author's books about the Enchanted Forest. This book adds greatly to the understanding of that area. I enjoyed that Jane Yolen was one of Ms.Wrede's encouragers. I live in Western Mass where Jane Yolen is well known. It's a great connection. Highly recommend this book

Dealing With Dragons

I just loved this book and the three which come afterwards. I love dragons having first encountered them in mythology and then through Anne McCaffrey's The Dragonriders of Pern series. I've shared them with a friend of mine and we can hardly wait to re-read them all. This appeals to me even though I am well out of childhood.
