Dublin: J. Williams, 1767. Here is a very nice early edition of Swift, Volume Eight only of a set. Although cerrtainly appropriate, it is rather uncommon to see the Irish publishers. Smooth calf binding; five raised bands on the spine; panels in red and black with gilt lettering. Clean text; 355 pages. Unfoxed, very fresh and easily readable. The Title Page has a nice engraving of the good Dean of St. Patrick's. Mostly free of the extensive rubbing that affects most 18th-Century books. Corners bumped; with a small chip on the rear panel. A very attractive book.. Later Printing. Full-Leather. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
