About This Item
New York: Farrar, Straus & Company, 1950. 311 pages. First printing of this collection of short stories by the author of THE LOST WEEKEND. Signed (twice) by Jackson with a warm inscription to "Bet and Dave" and dated "Marlboro Oct 4th 1950." The book is clean and tight, with a hint of tanning of the endpapers. The dust jacket has some noticeable chipping along the top edge and some minor pen marks on the front flap, but it still looks good in its recently appled clear mylar protector.. SIGNED. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.
