According to Edition note adhered to verso of last free page: "This little book 'Soldier Songs' is published and generously donated by the author, in the interest and for the benefit of the Monroe County Branch of the National Surgical Committee. Price, 25 cents. Mrs. Sherman Clarke, Monroe County Chairman." Letters included in the book are facsimiles of the author's handwriting. No previous owners' names or other markings. Housed in envelope of the time period. Some toning to exterior wraps (see image). 4 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches.
