Original hand-painted print from The Royal Game of Golf with printed artist's signature to bottom left; publisher's circular blind stamp to bottom right corner, which indicates this an originally hand-painted print published 1901. Royal coat of arms of Queen Victoria, put into use in 1837, to top right corner. Print depicts a woman in a rose print dress with a floral bonnet and holding a gold club by a golf ball. Light spotting and toning throughout, as well as light foxing to subject's face (see image). Framed in silver coated wooden frame. Frame: 21 x 29.75; Window: 13 x 21.75 inches.

Half calf with gilt rule and marbled boards, 4 raised bands with two black leather labels and gilt particulars to spine. Marbled edges. French text. Bookplate to front pastedown of each volume, otherwise no previous owners' names or other markings. Lacking top leather label to volume 1, losses to top leather labels of volumes 3 and 5 (see image). This Everybody's Magazine features the urgent topic of women's suffrage and rights years prior to the long overdue passing of the 19th amendment. The cover features two young girls setting off a "Votes for Women" rocket in the spirit of the 4th of July. Corners and sides are worn and interior contains a slight water stain, but otherwise in good condition with no other markings.

Signed by author to first free page and dated July 1994. Pictorial wraps with text. The author gives thanks to Mrs. Clorinde Zephir, Director of the Enfofanm Center, who provided the photos, which were recovered from a batch of documents from the Ligue Feminine d'Action Sociale shortly before they were destroyed. Black and white photography throughout, as well as some data tables and figures. General wear to exterior. No previous owners' names or other markings. 160 pp. 7 1/4 x 9 1/2 inches.

Professionally rebound in elegant marbled boards over dark green calf with 4 raised bands, gilt particulars, and red calf label to spine. New endpapers, although original first and last free pages also present. As described in book's advertisement: "[The letters] are genuine, but broken and interrupted sketches of a life spent in the most remote obscurity." Previous owner's name in in ink to first free page (J. W. Rogers). Lady referenced in the title is Mrs. Philip Schuyler (Catherine Van Rensselaer Schuyler), mother of Alexander Hamilton's wife Elizabeth Schuyler. Closed 1 inch tear to page 141 in volume 1. Both volumes have slight discoloration throughout as is expected with paper age and foxing primarily to beginning and end pages. Each volume 4 1/2 x 7 in.

Half green-to-brown Morocco over marbled boards. Eighteen hand-colored lithographs by W. Wing. Marbled endpapers and edges. Gilt title and detailing to spine. Mary Roberts was an English author who published fifteen books, most of which related to natural history, with this title being her last. She was the granddaughter of botanist Thomas Lawson and was one of the rare female naturalists of the 19th century. Wear to corners (see image) and head and tail. Front hinge re-attached, but nonetheless sound. No previous owners' names or other markings. 5 x 6.25 in

Scarce publication as Louis Vuitton withdrew this from circulation after it was made clear that Beecroft "unintentionally" infringed upon the Dutch designer Anthon Beeke's copyright for his Naked Ladies Alphabet that was published in 1970. Beecroft and Louis Vuitton issued an apology and stated they had no malicious intent in creating this work.
