London: Constable and Company, 1930. 287pp, [1]. Original quarter cloth and printed boards. Recased, minor abrasions to gilt on board to upper and lower covers, worn to edges. Internally a couple of instances of soiling, a former owner's name to front pastedown, and another former owner's name and address also to front pastedown, but generally quite bright and clean. With the errata slip to page 25. Signed by the author, with his often used 'Here's how' inscription to the reverse of the dedication leaf. First Edition. Full Morocco. Good+/No Jacket. Illus. by Rumbold, Gilbert. 8vo.
