Paris: Gallimard, 1947. Book. Very Good. Printer Wrapper. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This is a unique first French edition of Cannery Row. Copy "Exemplaire A" as indicated on the copyright page. There were also 1040 advance copies issued, 100 of which were numbered. Very scarce! Translated by Magdeleine Paz. This was a special issue for the "Du Monde Entier" series. The edges are uncut/rough. The paper used for the book is "pur fil Lafuma Navarre." The pages are partly unopened. Minor wear to the edges and some staining to the spine..
