New York: Townsend and Adams, 1868. Half Leather. Good. Half leather with marbled boards. 337, 308 pp. With a few illustrations throughout. A bound volume containing articles written during the year 1868, discussing medicine and surgery. This includes sections on typhoid fever, using electricity to treat paralysis, amputation, diseases of the skin, midwifery, administration of narcotics to pregnant women, etc. GOOD condition. Heavy chipping, flaking and splitting to the leather along the spine, with extensive superficial loss and a few missing chips. Leather scuffed and worn along the hinges and edges. Minor soiling, scuffing and discoloration to the covers. Minor to moderate scattered foxing in the interior, with a few small scattered dampstains.
