About This Item

Detroit:: Broadside Press,, 1973.. NF/NF (a tight, unread copy, but some soiling to front endpaper, light wear to fragile yellow dj.). Second printing in January of 1973 (originally published December 1972). The African-American poet's "concentrated, evocative summary of her life and the meanings which she has found in it." Includes three interviews and a 25-page album containing 82 photographs. Apparently the first printing was issued without a dj, so this is the first printing that had one.
