Publishers' cornflower blue cloth with gilt titles to spine in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket. Jacket a little scuffed, with nicks & creases to edge and very minor loss at head of spine and tips of folds. A Very Good copy in like jacket. Edited and arranged by Daniel Jones. The works selected for this publication were chosen by Thomas as worthy of preservation after his death, along with "Portrait of the Artist as a Young Dog", with source of each item indicated; with the exception of the excerpts from "The Map of Love" these works were previously unpublished in book form in Britain. The book was published posthumously and includes the essay "A Story" which appeared in "The Listener" just months before Thomas' death.
