J.M. Dent, 1927. Hardcover. Very Good. Aubrey Beardsley. Quarto. Third edition, limited to 1600 copies. Black cloth with gilt front board and spine decorations by Aubrey Beardsley. Spine re-backed with the original spine laid down and touched up in a couple of spots. Front board touched up in a couple of places as well and the upper corners repaired. Top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Board edges bevelled. Bookplate removal stain to the paste-down endpaper. Contents clean and the binding tight and square. Illustrated by Aubrey Beardsley. Although re-backed, still a nice copy, nice re-backing and well-done touch-ups, expertly done.
