About This Item
Universal City: Universal Pictures, 1964. Vintage banner poster from the 1964 film.
Based on popular 1962-1966 ABC television sitcom, made during the series second season, and followed by the 1965 sequel, "McHale's Navy Joins the Air Force," also directed by series producer Edward Montagne. Remade in 1997, directed by Bryan Spicer, and starring Tom Arnold and David Alan Grier.
In order to save a struggling orphanage, McHale and his crew recreate the Australian Derby on a South Pacific Island, and end up in even more debt to a group of Marines.
81 x 24 inches. Very Good plus, with light soiling and faint rubbing and creasing.
