Vintage original 78 x 55" (140 x 200 cm.) 4-fogli poster, Italy. Printed as single section and folded (as issued), VERY GOOD. Artwork by Italian poster artist Manfredo Acerbo. THE LEARNING TREE was the first film directed by an African American and financed by a major Hollywood studio, Warner Brothers. Writer-director Parks adapted his autobiographical novel about a black teenager growing up in Kansas in the 1920s. The film was one of the first twenty-five movies selected in 1989 for preservation as part of the United States National Film Registry.
