Illustrated endpapers, showing a map of Victoria and the vineyards of Victoria. The text is illustrated with line drawings by Harry Grebert and duotone and photographs. Photographic front cover, showing wine barrels in a cellar with yellow writing on the front panel and spine. Minor rubbing and chipping to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the book corners. The laminated has also chipped a little from the top front book corner and the lower front fore edge. The internal pages have been printed with a brown coloured ink. First published in 1964. It is a blend of the history of wine making and growing in Victoria through to modern ( 1980 ) wines. .
