This rare, comprehensive history of the City of Chicago has hundreds of illustrations throughout the text. Andreas was a historian and publisher publishing atlas' and books on Chicago, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Inidana, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska and the Dakotas. Binding has bumps and scuffs. Front hinge is cracked and the first 46 pages are loose but not damaged. Two small leafed branches were set into the book by a former owner and have been left in.
