Second edition of pioneering work "with considerable additions, and a new preface developing the system of the port wine trade". A VG copy of this excellent early wine guide, rebound in smart burgundy cloth with bright gilt titling to spine. Text lightly toned with very occasional foxing, but overall merits VG rating. Neat repair to foot of title page. Former owner's inscriptions, trimmed and not unattractive, to title and first page of text. 8vo. xlviii, 424pp.
