New York: George H. Doran Co., 1919. SCARCE regimental history from WW I. 466 pages illustrated with maps, charts, illustrations and portraits, including fold-out maps and fold-out Regiment photos. Very Good Minus, front hinge cracked, top corner creases first few pages, gilt lettering at spine a bit dulled still quite legible, light rubbing to cloth. The Thirtieth "Old Hickory" Division became famous as the first to break the Hindenburg Line on September 29th, 1918, ultimately leading to the end of the War just 40 days later. . First Edition. Cloth. Very Good Minus/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
