Small 12mo (binding measures 80mm x 140mm), pp viii, 352, a little age-toned throughout and slightly worn, title page a little browned and with neat contemporary initiials in the upper corner, hinge at title page a little cracked and sprung, in an interesting dull green contemporary lozenge calf, outer dentelles gilt, spine gilt decorated, a little rubbed overall, and with two cracks to the spine. VERY SCARCE. [The title continues ".relative to academies in Europe, accidents & incidents, battles and seafights, conquests, discoveries of countries, discoveries and inventions, remarkable events, famines and deaths, earthquakes and storms, frosts and inundations, foundation of kingdoms, institution of laws and courts, military knighthoods, remarkable buildings, religions of states, religious institutions and orders, titles of honour, sacred writers, incorporated societies, universities, also the sovereigns of England and Scotland, distinguished painters and eminent men of all professions."]. Full-Leather. Good.
