Label to rear pastedown. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine is moderately sunned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with noticeable bleach spotting and a few visible marks also.

The boards are a green color with the art work in a different green color and the lettering in white. There is a little soiling on the covers, bumped corners, and wear at the edges of the spine. Some staining of cover, titles faded on spine, edge wear, especially at spine edges, corners and spine ends bumped, former owner's name on front free end paper, (Etta Kerr Hicks, granddaughter of Reverdy Johnson of Maryland, Attorney General under President Zachary Taylor, 1849 -1850) end papers tanning along with half title, interior pages mostly bright with a little edge tanning and small stains on some page edges, binding tight. Measures 5 1/4 x 7 3/4 inches.
