Lyon: Amable Leroy, 1805. Full Leather. Good/No Jacket. Full leather. 360pp. A selection of fables from Fontaine, with introductory commentary/history. All text in FRENCH. In GOOD condition. Minor scuffing to the covers and extremities, with some bumping and rounding to the corners. A few minor dark stains present to the leather. Upper front and rear hinge split about 1 inch, with a 1/2 inch split along the lower rear hinge. First free endpaper almost detached. Second blank endpaper with a rectangle cut out along its upper edge. Previous owner's signature present. Text block solid with minor scattered soiling and foxing.
