New York: G.P Putnam, 1892. Half-Leather. Very Good/No Jacket. 324 pages plus several pages of ads. With many black and white illustrations. Introduction in English, folksongs in German. Bound in a small print floral cloth with gilt embellishments, as well as a ¼ leather backstrip with extensive gilt ornamentation. In VERY GOOD condition. Light soiling to the covers. Some darkening. Moderate scuffing and bumping to the extremities. Some pulling and fraying to the corners. Text clean and solid with previous owners' inscriptions on ffep and light creasing to the table of contents page. Nice copy of this volume of German folksongs in VERY GOOD condition.
