London: Gollancz, 1992. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First Printing. The first Kate Brannigan novel. Signed by Val McDermid at the title page. A bright copy but with some minor wear to the the covers including bumping to spine tips and a couple of marks to the upper cover. The dustjacket is unclipped but shelf-worn with rubbing to extremities including a small tear at lower corner, front panel. VG/VG.
Synopsis
Dead Beat is the 7th book in The Dresden Files, Jim Butcher's continuing series about wizard detective Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. The cover art by illustrator Christian McGrath depicts Harry walking down a snowy street with his glowing staff. Japanese katakana is written on the staff which reads "Matrix."
