Paul Baynes was a 16th-century English clergy best-known for his commentary on the New Testament book of Ephesians. While never published during his lifetime, this commentary has long been one of the most thorough and extensive studies on the Paul's epistle. This commentary, and other works of Baynes, were important influences on early Calvinists and Puritans including Cotton Mather.
