Los Angeles: Amblin Entertainment, 1989. Revised Draft script for the 1990 film. Copy belonging to an unidentified cast or crew member, with annotations in manuscript ink on the title page and page 96. Script pages periodically watermarked with production code "ARA 0093" as called for with Amblin scripts from this era.

A large, venomous spider is inadvertently transported from the jungles of Venezuela to a small town in California, where it soon mates with a local spider, producing thousands of deadly spiders that threaten to take over the nation.

Set and shot on location throughout California, in Los Angeles, Paso Robles, and Pasadena, and in Estado Bolívar, Venezuela.

Self wrappers. Title page present, dated December 28, 1989, noted as Revised, with credits for screenwriters Don Jakoby, Al Williams, Wesley Strick, and Stephen Metcalfe. 165 leaves, with last page of text numbered 121. Xerographic duplication, rectos only, with rainbow revision pages throughout, dated variously between 1/9/90 and 2/8/90. Pages Very Good, with first and last leaves detached from the binding, bound with two gold brads.
