London: Henry G. Bohn, 1844. Two volumes. li, 527p.p.; 491 p.p. Engraved frontispiece and extra engraved title, 7 engraved maps (3 folding), text in double columns. Bound in contemporary diced calf, spines elaborately gilt-tooled in compartments between raised bands, contrasting morocco labels, gilt, marbled endpapers and edges. Minor soiling and edgewear to bindings, endpapers noticeably foxed, but overall a very good copy.
