No inscriptions or annotations. 223 pages. 8vo - over 7 3/4 " - 9 3/4 " tall. Half bound in brown calf, with brown cloth boards, gilt titles to spine and upper board. Like new. Afterword by Bernard deVoto, adapted from 1932's Mark Twain's America . Illustrated by Paul Geiger. Includes leaflet summarising the novel and the life of Samuel Clemens. Like New. Book. .
Synopsis
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, by Mark Twain, is a popular 1876 novel about a young boy growing up in the antebellum South on the Mississippi River in the town of St. Petersberg, based on the town of Hannibal, Missouri.
